The room looked very tired and in need of a refurbishment, the bath was mouldy, carpets were threadbare in places and overall the room was dusty. All of the electrical appliances had long expired “pat test” stickers with some up to four years overdue. On the plus side the staff on arrival were very friendly and helpful as were those in the restaurant which had a very good menu and very reasonably priced.

Hotel was clean room was clean the only thing that let me down was the breakfast I didn’t enjoy it the food at all it was terrible bacon didn’t looked cooked scrambled eggs were cold hashbrowns were cold too.

For only a pit stop stay I was very impressed with the room, large room with comfy bed, so much space, all the staff were lovely and friendly, only thing that let it down was some of breakfast. But overall very happy with my stay

Excellent staff as per usual and very helpful. Although the hotel is ideal for our needs it is looking tired and in need of TLC. Plenty of parking and with everything under one roof it makes it a good choice for a short stay. This time there was a large function on both nights which would have been good to have known before so that we could have had the chance to change the dates.

Staff were helpful, restaurant nice and friendly, rooms ok but could do with a facelift - carpets getting threadbare and could do with a lick of paint. Extractor fan in bathroom didn’t work and glasses in room looked about 20 years old. Would probably stay again though because handy for Lincoln.
