There isn’t a 24 hr reception so if you are a late arrival be prepared to do your own check in. I was only there for a night so did not make use of any facilities (breakfast, dinner or anything) However a word of advice for solo travellers… room 24 which is a single room is Tibet, uncomfortable and with slanted ceilings you barely get a window and you can’t have a shower standing straight. I would not book again. Also the confusion of me having to do my own check in meant the morning staff could not check me out as I didn’t appear on the system as checked in. Not only made my checking out longer but also got charged for a room already paid for. Luckily the lady at the desk picked up on that a proceeded to refund instantly after I had already left the property Looks like a nice place but my experience was not great nor comfortable.

As one would expect from a four star hotel the room was clean and well appointed. A lovely bathroom with very good shower. The evening meals were superb with everything beautifully cooked. The breakfast food was also very nice. The staff were friendly and very efficient. Parking was easy with plenty of room. Rather than drive into Lincoln we took a five minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Just a five minute ride into the city.

A superb hotel. Really helpful staff and amazing service. Food is really good. We were there on the hottest day of the year so the bedroom was a bit warm. The fan supplied was very welcome.

Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Food is amazing and the service was first class. The overall price we thought was very good for what you actually get and the grounds were beautiful. My Wife and myself stayed in the honeymoon suite and we were surprised at how nice it was. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely hotel. Food was excellent (dinner and breakfast), they got something wrong with one of the meals but corrected immediately and was it was worth waiting for. Staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough for you. Only very small quibble is the quality of the toilet rolls, soft but extremely thin and ended up purchasing my own so no drama, but not expected in such a nice, good quality hotel, plenty of parking and short ride into the town. Would recommend and definitely stay again.
