Everything was ok. Breakfast really let us down on extras like selection on the buffet with green bananas and a couple of apples being the fresh fruit. But mostly the presentation of the cooked breakfast, the plain cheap bread used for toast and the lack of anything extra meant the breakfast was a let down. Dinner looked ok but we didn’t eat there The whole places closes early during the week - all shut up by 9pm with a separate entrance for rooms - so our colleagues who arrived late couldn’t even get a drink. The bathrooms were a bit grubby - clean but not deep cleaned. The beds weren’t very comfortable, just ok - but the decor was nice. Overall it was ok. Not expensive, and you get what you pay for. Pleasant enough and a convenient location with quite a lot of parking.

The breakfast could have been better prepared. The coffee was undrinkable (stewed) and the cooked breakfast was overcooked. The window in the downstairs bedroom needed a security stop on it. It opened wide onto the car park which could be dangerous.. Apart from those 2 observations, we enjoyed our dinner and stay at The Worlds End Hotel in Northampton.

Nice country pub, not far from sywell aerodrome, good pub food and decent beer.
