Unfortunately, my stay fell well below the standard I expected from this hotel. The shower did not appear to be especially clean, and the tiles had a noticeable white film on them. More concerning was the excessive noise from loud music coming from down the hall, which significantly detracted from the atmosphere and made the experience feel more like staying at a budget motel than the quality of hotel I had expected. The breakfast experience only added to the disappointment. Breakfast was delivered to my room in a paper bag, the yogurt provided was expired, and the remaining food tasted as though it had been prepared the previous day rather than fresh that morning. I expected a considerably higher standard of cleanliness, comfort, food quality, and overall service. Unfortunately, the experience did not come close to meeting those expectations. I left extremely disappointed and would have a difficult time recommending this hotel based on my experience.

The James hotel is a cute modern hotel with very good amenities. However I found 3 hairs in the bathtub and the caulking in the bathroom is brown and cracking. It low key kind of ruined my bath.
