Place needed a complete refurb. Our room had an old carpet, mattress needed replacement and there was a crack in the loo cistern. Evening meal was very good but breakfast was very poor. Over cooked. Laura is a real gem and will be snapped up by another business as she has excellent customer service skills. We never saw the Landlord/lady.

The room was tidy and a well deep bath, just mind your head on the beams and toes on the step. Beautiful place really well presented, all the staff were very welcoming. Excellent location for Oxford town center. Park and ride excellent value too, only pay for one car and up to 5 occupance for 16 hrs at 3.50

Expedia and Google say the hotel has AC however it does not! Bed was firm, we had a small rotating fan, and frankly it was difficult to sleep. Large bathtub, but no standing shower. Overall cute little place, but far away from frequent bus stops if traveling to Oxford and the lack of AC, although other sites say it has it, were the biggest letdowns. Nice bar scene in the evening though! Staff was friendly and food and drinks were on point!

Nice stay at the Bell, the manager Ashley was really helpful & friendly. The other staff were also friendly. Restaurant & pub were very nice & we enjoyed a lovely meal on the Friday evening. The rooms we had were pleasant and comfortable however we were unaware that you needed to state a preference to having either a bath or a shower. If we’d been there for a relaxing weekend then the bath would have been lovely however we were staying for the Grand Prix and would have preferred a shower for quickness. Would have benefited from a small fridge in the room. Because we were out very early we opted for the continental breakfast, this was satisfactory but not amazing. However on the Sunday morning we did have the full English breakfast which was very nice. There was plenty of parking. We will definitely use this hotel again.
