Room don’t feel that clean, there were lots of spains on some bedding which was not nice and surfaces somewhat dusty. Pool and sauna maintained nicely and staff were accommodating.

The hotel and rooms are fine if not a little tired. They dont provide room servicing ( which to be honest is a shame for the price) the amenities are extra and are also tired. Unfortunately the worst was the breakfast, poor quality and in the 5 nights we stayed was cold every day. Im but I will need be recommending this hotel. For the location it's 5 star. And it obviously was back in time. It has suffered under investment in recent years.

Stunning location. Got upgraded to a high up sea view room. Very much appreciated that as the view was magnificent. Room was clean. Would recommend paying the extra for the bigger room with a seaview .Will make a big difference.Loved the main bar area with all the Chesterfield couches.Helpful bar staff. Spa was so good to relax in . The hotel still has an old world charm about it. Make sure you visit the Russell Cotes museum next door. You won’t be disappointed. Thought Emily from the Entertainment crew was very talented.

Hidden charges to use the facilities. Front office staff were rude and dismissive. Room was horrid. Floor’s creaking all the time throughout the hotel and bedroom. Definitely not the 4 star hotel experience I was expecting.
