Older hotel very clean , instant hot water , great beds , mostly a great location close to Stanley Park and English Bay , very nice neighbourhood.

We only stayed one night pre cruise but would happily have stayed longer. Lots of places nearby to eat and close to Stanley Park.

Nasty, noisy, old, smelled, creaky floors, insects. Could hear people & kids above, beside and below crying, running, walking, talking, using bathroom, noisy well-past midnight; when they flushed toilet it made our toilets fill as though we flushed them in middle of the night. Lamps didn't work. Cracked tiles, unrepaired holes, curtains didn't shut, So unclean we didn't sit on anything or step in bathroom and showers without a towels down first. No room light in primary, very dark. View: into windows of apartments. Tub smelled like pee. They knew vehicle I was driving and told me to park under building, which required 2-point turn to get to its sloping entry; banged-up metal garage door doesn't open all the way and scraped along my vehicle's roof on entry AND exit. Garage extremely small, with low ceiling made lower by pipes and a bunch of junk (used mattress etc. ) stacked in multiple spaces; no parking available and incredibly difficult to get turned around and out (30 mins, of maneuvering with a person spotting between cars, cement pillars and junk). No staff past 3 pm. No one returned my call from garage re; alt parking, not even when they were in office next day. They terminate your card access the morning after check in, even if you have paid in full. Apparently to get you to find them and sign more paperwork (?) to renew access. Terrible experience. If refundable we would have left the day after arrival.

The suite was very clean and quiet. Nothing impressive about the decor though. Housekeeping staff were lovely. Pool is on second beach and was closed.

Good place to stay . Great for families lots of room and good kitchen. Very clean. Suggest indoor shoes old carpets and wobbly floors. Easy access to Canada Place and Stanley Park.
