Room very clean, staff good, breakfast comprehensive although the toast was burnt in all 4 servings and had to wait for 2nd coffee whilst they went out to get coffee beans.

Great to be able to park so close to hotel and main streets of Knutsford. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. We had lunch on arrival which was delicious. Service excellent too. Small room but well stocked, very clean and perfect for our one night stay. Water pressure in room a bit low but that’s a minor issue. Everything overall really positive. Lots of choice at breakfast and food and coffee were great. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

The hotel is in the heart of Knutsford, a great location and having breakfast included was great. Having free parking is a bonus. The only downside is that the double room was v small (no room for a bedside table) and smelled of food being right next to the kitchen extractor.

Parking at the back which was easy to find. Plenty spaces free while we were there in July. Gorgeous decked terraces at the back with flowers and lights. We entered car reg on the screen as we went in & went to check-in. This was an easy process and staff member was polite & efficient. We were shown to our room at the top of the first lot of stairs & the staff member explained about breakfast etc. Lovely sized room overlooking King Street. We were there during a heatwave, but the room was cool. Blinds were closed & one window open. Has secondary glazing panels also. A fan was provided (was noisy at first then quietened down). Large wardrobe & plenty hangers. A hairdryer was included. Had a sofa & a dressing table & mirror. This was also where the tea and coffee making products were. Biscuits, sweets & 2 bottles of water were also provided, which is a nice touch. Room was clean & bed was really comfy, nice mattress and pillows. Lovely bedside cabinets with lamps. USB charge points. Bathroom was a good size & clean, some toiletries, slippers & toilet rolls provided. The pub area downstairs has an open feel about it & nicely set out. We had the full English breakfast which was great. Could also have bacon sandwich/muffin, eggs Benedict etc, cereal, fruit, juice, pastries if wanted. Pot of tea included. Sauce, jam & butter were already on the table. Had a great stay here, with no issues. Able to let ourselves in after being at an event after hours. Will definitely be back! 🙂

Had a lovely stay at the Rose and Crown. It was my husband's big birthday and they kindly had chilled prosecco waiting in the room for us on arrival! The room was very nice, ok bed big and comfy and they added a big fan as middle of a heatwave. The pub is a beautiful 17th Century coaching Inn full of character, nothing like a corporate beige box, right in the centre of the lovely high street. This obviously comes with some noise as you're on top of a pub. England were playing (winning!) so there was a busy atmosphere outside. They have added an additional inner screen to block of noise as best they can but you're not installing double glazing to a coaching Inn. We loved our stay, breakfast was really good, staff friendly and would definitely return if we're planning on dining at Li-Ly's again. (Which was also amazing).
