This is our second stay here and just like the first time this beautiful hotel does not disappoint. The rooms are so comfortable and bedding and towels are so soft. We even looked the brand up and purchased sheets for our home because they were so nice. The pool on the roof is very chill with a nice bar and the view is wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

My room had a minor problem with the toilet, which I reported, but it was not repaired, although maintenance checked on it. So, I had the noise from the toilet throughout my stay. Also, most of the furniture on the rooftop was all wet in the mornings, so I got my pants wet one day. They cover the loungers by the pool to protect them, but not the other rooftop furniture.

I love L'Ermitage. Stayed first in 1979. It was a home from home. We are back in October and I want to come down from Santa Barbara regularly in the future. My singular and ONLY observation is that the phone in the room is grotty. Dirty and old. The one single thing g that did not fit. You asked so I am truthfully saying I wouldn't want to touch it-upgrades maybe might be a consideration. I wrote about the best hotels in the entire world for 20 years for Condé Nast in London and rate your place right up there!!

The staff at the hotel were amazing(except our one waiter at the eating area by the pool). They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. It was very hot while we were there, and they offered us water constantly! The pool area and bar were very nice, could even see the Hollywood sign. I have difficulty walking long distances, so we used the hotel driver several times. Both drivers we interacted with were so kind, and pointed out places to have breakfast/lunch. They also pointed out famous places, and gave us some of the history of Beverly Hills. Would love to stay there again in the future!
