This hotel exceeded all expectations for a long weekend stay in Zurich. Great location in the old part of town, close to shopping, dining and sightseeing. Cleanliness and presentation was top notch and the staff were generally very friendly. I highly recommend the Scheuble hotel to any couples traveling to Zurich.

There are no irons or steamers. Instead you have to pay for laundry service to get clothes ironed which is not good if you have meetings etc. The building is very old, with exposure to pipes and the cleanliness of the areas around the pipes are not good in the rooms.

The staff here make this hotel!! There's a cozy little breakfast area with a small selection of breads, cereals, yogurts, meats and cheeses. Eggs can be prepared as scrambled or omelet on request. This is an old hotel. Two small elevators or stairs to take you to your room. The rooms are unique, but very dated and not super clean. Beds are small and uncomfortable. Bathroom has sliding glass doors off the bedroom. Shower was not clean and towels were very thin. For the money paid for these rooms we felt the quality wasnt there. Also, it was very noisy in evening and during night. No air conditioning (which is not unusal) but made it difficult sleep especially as we needed windows open. Small fan in room was not sufficient.

It was very hot in the room. I had to use a feeble fan (provided by the hotel) all the time. I do not think they should advertise it as airconditioned or climate controlled. There is no iron or ironing board in the room. When I asked the front desk they informed me that they did not have any. They suggested I use the ironing service. I think it is beyond ridiculous

Well located close to the train station and restaurants. Quiet area at night. Stayed on the 5th floor so the room got hot ... no temperature control in the room. Otherwise a decent place to stay in Zurich.

The breakfast was amazing. The location was perfect. The only thing Is that they dont have in the Room air conditioning that you can adjust. The air is general system for all the hotel. But really nice stay.
