The main reason for my low review is that I my credit card was charged TWICE for my stay and despite calling the Hotel to inform them have still not been refunded. Also the hotel does not appear to have an e mail address where I can contact them further. The telephone & TV in the room worked intermittently, the A/C didn't work and the kettle had to be replaced, as the one in the room was dangerous.

There was no staff to attend to any complaint. It is now a very poorly managed hotel. Rooms are done for and I am writing this after having issues 3 times in a row.

Although the location was in the city centre, the friendliness of staff, especially waitresses were poor and inconsistent. They did not know their menu and took forever to serve you and bring your meals. The vegetarian meals at the main restaurant were limited, to the extent that we could order everything on the menu on Day 1 of our stay. The D’Vine bar/restaurant ran out of desserts and the cappuccino experience differed from day to day. The breakfast staff were better on most days. There was a need to constantly call reception for amenities, towels and the safe which was not operational. Overall, not worth the price I paid whilst noting that the parking came at an additional fee, which should have been included for the price of the hotel. Whilst I felt that the managers of the hotel were more on the ball, the staff were not at the same level, barring the lady who had to bring our amenities to our room on Day 1, as she was quite obliging.

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was clean and nicely appointed. Hotel also has a nice rooftop bar and pool.

I don’t know who gave this hotel 5 stars! Maximum 4 stars. I was given the worst room at arrival. Asked to change, then given a better room that wasn’t properly clean. Had to wait 4 hours for someone to finally clean the bathtub. Caroline was the only helpful staff. And the restaurant and bar staff were also super nice.
