We had a fantastic overnight stay. The staff are wonderful. Everyone from reception to the restaurant and the golf clubhouse were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them 5* Dinner in the restaurant was great, highly recommend it. The whole visit was great value as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed a 2 night stay and could not find fault in anything from the room, to the staff to the excellent food. Will make a point of staying again.

Small room overlooking the car park, no privacy as roman blind was faulty. Stained carpet in room and dirty carpets on landing. Dirt & grit on carpet was there when we arrived Mon & still there when we left on the Fri, no hoovering done. Standard pub food, but we'll cooked. We waited well over an hour one evening for our mains - turned out they had lost the order. There was a wedding that evening and they were clearly short staffed & could not cope. The manor house looks lovely from outside but is very run down and dirty in parts. They also asked for payment for the room although we had paid weeks before, luckily I had the receipt. Would never stay again.

Room had not been fully cleaned when we checked. Bathroom door would not lock and there was damage to the wall behind the door which had not been repaired. Shower screen over the bath was not adequate to prevent water from soaking the floor. Overall the decor was tired and in need of refreshing. Food in the restaurant was average. The room rate of just over £300 for the night was excessive for the standard offered at the hotel.
