Don't relay on the "free Wi-Fi" my mobile kept cutting out and trying to use my laptop won't even load.

This is a quirky place just off the promenade ,there are no staff at reception but an envelope with all details and actual keys to your room and front door.We could see the sea from the bay window and had a shared bathroom ,there are rooms with en suite but fully booked for our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, two cheerful girls cooking,no sign of the owners but it all worked smoothly ,also the eggs are from a local farm.

The Guest house is situated in a good place to access the front and town centre. Breakfast service was very good as was the quality of breakfast . Our twin room was decorated lovely, the bedding was clean and of good quality. The establishment seemed to have very good sound proofing giving a peaceful night's sleep. Overall a pleasant stay. Down side, street parking can be difficult and challenging. We arrived on a Thursday and left on Sunday morning. During that time the bin in the communal bathroom and toilet had not been emptied which became overflowing. The shower had no cleaning products at hand and wasn't pleasant wanting a shower when someone else has just used the shower leaving hair and grime from their shower. Whilst there was a notice up about if a guest has an issue it would be preferred to be dealt with during a guests stay. However I would expect cleanliness and day to day monitoring of communal areas be done as part of an establishments routine rather than needing a guest to request this to be done.
