OK so not brand new and has been through some hurricanes over the years, but this place is perfect for the price they are asking. It is it's own little house behind the Motel and is next to the best breakfast restaurant in Englewood. Perfectly clean inside. This was ideal for my trip and I will stay there again.

The pictures online looked good but upon arrival it looked like nothing has been maintained or updated since it was built (in the 60's or 70's). The room smelled strange so we bought some air freshener to help. Staff was friendly but as for amenities, no coffee (even though a coffee maker was provided), no shampoo, etc. just 2 tiny bars of soap. The pool looked clean but we did not use it. The price was cheap so we should have known what we were getting.

Booking the room was easy with no issues. Lady at front desk was pleasant but not super informative. It is an older motel, but a lot better than we anticipated, actually. With a little more effort to maintenance and amenities it would be great. It’s in a wonderful location with a super breakfast cafe next door I highly recommend. They never told us about it…the room is set up condo-style with a small kitchen and living room combined, a surprisingly comfortable bed, and old but adequate bath. The back door opens to the garden area near pool which we did not use. Strongly suggest they add some cooking utensils, silverware instead of plastic spoons, an updated coffee pot (go next door), and more than the ONE glass and cup for at least a couple staying. An ice maker or ice machine nearby would also be a nice touch. It was a holiday weekend so we were happy to get a room altho the rate was a little high for window blinds that were cut in areas to look better, not tattered, but offered little to no privacy! . Nothing fancy at all but the room and grounds looked neat and clean…the A/C was a window unit which

Property not as advertised. It's a 1950-60's side of the road Motel. Musty odor upon arrival. Kitchen stocked, but only used fridge. Furnishings all old, thrift store quality. Miss-matched left-over floorong tile. Bedding ripped and had cigarette holes. Shower stall full of black mold. Pool had only 2 lounge chairs, no umbrella.
