Nicole & Mal are a lovely couple and couldn’t do enough for us. Gave helpful advice on local places to eat as well as knowledge of Wigtown. The property was very homely, lovely room with book theme and comfy beds. Nice bathroom with modern shower. Living room downstairs to use was also very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, all local produce and even went out of their way to get the Rice Krispies that we asked for because they had run out. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay here.

A fantastic overnight stop in the heart of Wigtown. Mal and Nicole are excellent hosts, and the whole place is spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Nicole cooks everything from fresh, and the breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. Dinner was equally delicious, again all cooked from fresh by Nicole. The book-themed rooms are a lovely touch and perfectly reflect Wigtown's reputation as Scotland's National Book Town. If you're looking for a warm welcome, a great night's sleep, and an excellent breakfast, this is the place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

The bedroom was a good size. Nice and light. With a modern en suite. We had all the facilities needed in our room which overlooked the garden. Our hosts were very welcoming, we enjoyed a lot of banter..Nicole provided tasty good quality home cooked meals. Sourcing local produce. Both hosts worked hard to look after their guests to ensure we enjoyed our stay. All good fun.

Very nice B&B in a beautiful area. The host Nicole was very nice and helpful. The view out our window was stunning. Clean and comfortable. Town and restaurants a short drive away. Didn’t do the breakfast but it looked and smelled awesome. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
