Restaurant closes at 21;15 even with no other resturants nearby. Particularly if you do not have your own vehicle. Staff help with bus to train station. Although Google maps showed a quicker and easier route.

The hotel was clean and the staff were great the only thing that let it down was the food. The breakfast was good but the menu was very limited and the steak I had was very poor.

The hotel was clean and the location was convenient, but one major issue significantly affected my stay. The room had a fixed, non-openable window with no opening mechanism, so there was no possibility of getting any fresh air into the room. As a result, air circulation was very poor, and the room felt stuffy throughout my stay. This made sleeping quite uncomfortable, especially at night, and I struggled to get a good night's rest. The hotel should make it clearer in the room description that the windows cannot be opened, as this may be an important consideration for guests who prefer fresh air and natural ventilation. Overall, the lack of ventilation had a noticeable impact on my comfort and sleep quality.

Ideal location for visiting someone at Heriot Watt uni. Free parking and excellent bus links into city. Good, varied breakfast selection. Evening meals not so good - limited menu anyway but when we were there they had also run out of a few things. Extremely spacious room with a huge bed. Pillows too soft for me but that's just personal taste!

Excellent staff! On a campus and is nice. Not close to much shopping. Carpets with a lot of stains makes it feel not as clean. Bathroom clean.
