The staff were really helpful and friendly. The bed (Room 8) was very comfortable but the general cleanliness of the room was below standard. The bathroom extractor fan blew out dirt on to the wall and was so noisy you couldn't hear anything once in there! The window locks were broken and some of the surfaces were sticky. The sink plug didn't work. Having a shower curtain is never good either!

Hotel reception is in the pub, very friendly welcome. Room large with ensuite. Car parking next to Hotel.

Room needed some real TLC. Was quite quiet consider how close to the road it is. Air con unit in room, but doesn’t work and when called to ask as the room was boiling, was told abruptly that they advertise there is no air con and hung up. It’s not on the ad for hotels.com and regardless it was rude. It’s cheap, but you get what you pay for. Wouldn’t go back.

Second time I’ve stayed here. Decent location, quiet, bedlinen being a polyester mix made for a hot nights sleep, but otherwise perfectly fine.
