Fantastic 14th century building owned and run by Eric a brilliant host and fantastic chef we stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you Eric for your hospitality.

Our stay at this excellent hotel was fantastic the host Eric went over and above to make us welcome and although we had not booked for an evening meal he produced a magnificent 3 course meal, we are returning to his hotel in two weeks time on our return home and look forward to another great stay, many thanks Eric see you soon.

An intriguing and idiosyncratic property reflecting the owner's unique style of decor with his interests in the medieval, North Africa and various bits and pieces he has accumulated. Being an old chateau it was internally dark and our room's bedlinen and lighting didn't alleviate this. However, it was clean and the breakfast adequate. We were a little alarmed that our bank card details were taken as a precaution, having prepaid for our night's stay.

L'hôte de ce château est un personnage bien sympathique. Le château lui-même est une belle bâtisse. Toutefois, et selon règlement de son propriétaire, il n'est pas possible de rester dans sa demeure de 11h00 le matin jusqu'à 17h00 l'après-midi (établissement sous alarme). Ce n'est pas acceptable et en contradiction avec les indications stipulées sur le site d'Hotel.com stipulant un accueil 24/24h. Dans un établissement hôtelier, j'estime pouvoir disposer et accéder à ma chambre à n'importe quel moment même en cas de mise à disposition pour le personnel de service. Malgré les efforts faits par l'hôte, je ne recommande pas cet établissement dans les conditions sus mentionnées.

Hébergement typique de château rénové avec soin avec chambres d'hôtes. Ambiance bonne, accueil sympathique. Wifi OK. Pas de climatisation dans la chambre du bas occupée qui était néanmoins fraîche. Le propriétaire qui a des contraintes personnelles professionnelles a fixé des modalités d'accès aux chambres et jardin (pas d'accès possible entre 11h et 17h) qui sont particulières et qui peuvent être très gênantes pour les hôtes. Cette contrainte et très mal affichée sur le site Expédia ce qui peut entraîner des débats et tensions.
