Within a short walk you will find yourself on the Rutland water circular path; the more adventurous may wish to complete the whole 24-mile route on foot, or by bike. You may get distracted though, as you need to pass the village pub to get to the water! There are many activities to take part in and places to visit during your time in Rutland. There is something for everyone, head to the nature reserve to observe the Rutland Osprey Project; hire bikes for a ride in the 4,200 acres of open countryside; enjoy adrenalin fuelled water sports, including sailing, canoeing, paddle boarding and windsurfing; go fishing; play a round of golf, be it 18 hole or crazy golf; or simply relax on the seasonal beach.
