My husband and I went to spend a nice weekend in Galena for our Anniversary. We got a room with a hot tub, well that didn’t work had to call the front desk. They finally fixed it. We had bugs in the room. Couldn’t use the balcony because it was filthy and full of bugs. The window did not shut or lock. They say they provide toiletries we did not have any in our room, but one small bar of soap to wash our hand’s with. Mold in the bathroom on the ceiling which was gross. The room was definitely not as described and not clean. The property was disgusting. We tried to find a different place to stay but all nearby hotels were sold out. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The price they charge for this room is ridiculous for how poorly the hotel is kept. They really need to do a complete remodel before renting more rooms. Be aware they rate it an 8.4 I wouldn’t even rate it 1 star. So disappointing!!!!!

This was fine, but just a strange property. I get that some of the rooms are kitschy. Mine was just big and weird and old.
