Owner very welcoming, staff friendly. Single room was excellent, good en suite, super comfortable bed, lots of useful bits like sewing kit, sleep mask and earplugs etc, good choice of beverages, room very clean, nicely furnished plenty of storage. Lovely dining room and excellent breakfast, lots of choice. Loved the little lounge and bar, tables and chairs outside for sunny days. Parking easy. Hotel was just a great place to stay, and excellent valye. Thank you.

Great very reasonably priced stay at Avoncourt. Came down to Ilfracombe for a few days with an early trip to Lundy planned for one of the days. Helpful staff arranged for us to be able to have a light breakfast before we left. The second day we weren’t in as much of a rush and had an amazing breakfast of shakshuka - fantastic before a long hike on the south west coast path. Would recommend.

Brilliant position on the edge of the coastal walk. Having a balcony was a real plus in the heat. Breakfast was second to none.
