There is public parking nearby and it is recommended that you bring a car for your stay. Les Houches has much to offer in terms of après-ski activities, including an outdoor ice-skating rink, indoor rock climbing and a separate sledging area for children. The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars, plus many other activities throughout the year. Chamonix itself is just a 15-minute drive away or a free train ride on the Mont Blanc Express. In the summer months, Chamonix golf club is a 20-minute drive and there are tennis courts right on the doorstep.
