The Schooner is a great place to stay. Really friendly staff and really great location. It is a no frills hotel but the rooms and views are great and the price is superb.

Clean hotel at the end of the boardwalk so quieter with close parking. Second night had a beach side balcony which was fantastic. Very friendly staff.

The room was large and had a kitchenette with plates, cups, silverware even pots and pans. The cleaning staff were very nice. And they basically left me blissfully alone bc I had the do not disturb on my door most of the time. But if I needed some vacuuming or fresh towels, I would open the door. There was a slightly musty smell in the dresser drawers which scented my clothes unfortunately. Bathroom was clean but also had a slight smell. But seriously for the price and location, it's great to have the schooner. Next time I would definitely treat myself to a ocean view room with jacuzzi!

The room was very clean. We enjoyed the ocean view and the hot tub. The staff were excellent and super nice. I would definitely stay again.

When we arrived, the room was freezing cold. When I tried to call down to the front desk for a blanket I discovered I had a phone that was completely inoperable on our room. Used my cellphone to get around all of the hoops to call the front desk from the public phone number on line. I was told, oh, that must be one of the phones that's needing to be repaired, which would have been nice to know before I checked in. I don't understand why they could not have just gotten another phone from another room. The next three nights our room was seventy seven degrees and we were hot. The second day of our stay, no one came in to clean our room and to replenish our supplies. And once again, I had to go down to the front desk, because I had no working phone in my room. The spa tub was all gritty on the bottom. On our last day the toilet was deciding it was going to potentially overflow, so we ended up not using it and going elsewhere. Did report all of these things to the front desk and Janet was very kind and said, if I had not used the third party app, she would have been able to do something for me. But suggested after her documentation on our account, that I should reach out to hotels.com. I did.
