Hedgefield House is quiet, comfortable, and has great charm. The garden and grounds are beautiful. The staff are not at all intrusive, but very helpful. We had two nights only, but I'd have been happy to spend more time there, and to enjoy the place. On the downside, there is no restaurant, but you can't have everything! There was plenty of in-room refreshment. I have family in the area, and I hope to stay at Hedgefield House again on my next visit.

We had a very nice stay and the room exceeded our expectations - a great place to stay when hiking along the Hadrian's Wall path.

Check in was ok, room had everything needed (lots of hot water, hairdryer etc.) It was pretty noisy the one night I stayed there and it wasn’t easy to sleep. Nice accommodation and a good location.

The room was lovely, comfortable and quiet! The bathroom spotless and the shower hot and very much appreciated after a day of hiking. We stayed here whilst we were doing Hadrian’s Wall and it was perfect, just a short way of the trail. Thank you for a lovely stay!
