I had a lovely time at the Oddsson. It was conveniently located near two markets, Bonus and Kronan, as well as several restaurants. The check-in process was simple, and after a long trip I loved being able to go straight to my room without needing to interact with a front desk. The free breakfasts were great (they always had non-dairy milk), and the restaurant/bar is a nice place to have dinner for the days when you get back from a day tour and don't feel like going into town. The hotel is located right by two bus stops, so it is very easy to grab the bus into town. There is also a taxi service across the street if you prefer. One thing to keep in mind is that this hotel is a bit far from the city center. Not a long drive, but about a 40-minute walk to Hallgrimskirkja. If you want to avoid the bus or the cab and would prefer to walk, this may not be the right hotel for you. I love walking so it worked out fine for me. Aside from it not being quite centrally located, it really is a nice hotel. The staff was always friendly and it's a quick walk to the Zoo or the Mall. If they make any changes in the future, I think adding some laundry facilities on site would be nice. I knew that they did not have them so I planned accordingly, but I think it would make the experience a tiny bit better.

Good hotel with a nice rooms clean and quiet. The hotel is 5 minute from central Reykjavík with easy access to highway and roads to centre. Breakfast is nothing special.

Great hotel. Showers were great, so was the bed😊 it’s clean and quite modern too. Can’t go wrong with this one 😊

loved this centrally located place. Room was just what we needed. I've never had a place with no reception, so that was weird?
