We had a fabulous vacation here with our toddler. Quick few blocks walk to the beach, close walk to lots of great restaurants and a nice grocery store, and it was a serene and nice place to unwind.

We enjoyed our time here. This place is older and is more like an Air BnB than a hotel. But overall it met our needs well and was a fun, unique place to stay. We had a kitchen and a dining room table, and even a private outdoor table, which we would not have had in a normal hotel. This place delivers on charm and individuality. It's also very well located, within an easy walk or drive to both the beach and La Jolla village. Parking was easy either in their small parking lot or in the abundant street parking. The workers there were nice, but the office isn't open all the time, which would be my one real complaint. Overall, my group really enjoyed our time here and we would strongly consider staying here again next time we're in the area.

They CANCELLED my rental WHILE TRAVELING although repeated correspondence with the Redwood Hollow Cottages associates that I was a mother traveling with her two young children needing and addressing safety and accessibility concerns. Accessibility was denied the first night due to the aforementioned and the time of night accessing an associate because our flight arrived late; hence, we were stranded the first night having to make spontaneous alternative accommodations while keeping my young childrens’ spirits up in an unfamiliar town. The replacement property lacked satisfaction fulfilling my top two concerns and caused my incredibly cherished vacation with my children to be completely jeopardized. I’m safely home now, yet you ruined memories and life that cannot be replaced; I hope you and your associates are proud of yourselves for the,“…work” you do…,”. I will be in touch soon Expedia; others beware please and thank you.

Great property, we loved being able to walk to the La Jolla tide pools and some nice restaurants nearby. The bathroom is a bit smaller than it appears in photos but overall the cottage was very clean and comfortable!

Cozy little Cottage with five minute walk to the tide pools. Very comfortable we enjoyed our stay.
