I had a wonderful stay at The Majestic Hotel. My room (604) was spotlessly clean, and everything was close by, making it a very convenient location. A special shout-out to Zorica on the sixth floor—she looked after me brilliantly and was an absolute pleasure. Her attention to detail made my stay even more comfortable. The only downside happened on my last night when the hotel booked a taxi for my airport departure. Unfortunately, the driver overcharged me by 1,000 dinars, which left a sour note on an otherwise great experience. Despite that taxi issue, the hotel itself is brilliant. I would gladly stay here again—and I’d love for Zorica to look after my room again!

AC var vanskelig å styre. Måtte slås av og på utover natten. Luktet kloakk på badet. Antageligvis en vannlås som var gått tørr. Lyset fra kaffemaskinen lyste opp hele rommet på natten. Frokosten var så som så. Laaang kø foran kaffemaskinen. Svimerker (?) på toalettsetet.

Historical Art Deco hotel in the centre of the city. Great location. I gave only 4 stars because: 1. I was given the wrong directions to the bus stop I needed by the staff on reception. 2. I was initially in room 51- which is immediately behind the lift which is old and very noisy and creaky. I was kept awake all night the first nigh, but had unpacked and was so tired I couldn’t face packing up and going down to reception etc. Room 51 has a lovely bathroom etc., and is spacious- but not fit for purpose. The next morning I asked to be moved and was refused twice before making a fuss and eventually the manager agreed. I had to pack my stuff and leave it at reception for it to be placed in the new room when it was ready. However on my return at 7pm, my bag was still sitting on reception. I was allocated another room which was much smaller, no coffee machine or tea bags or cup (but there was a kettle!), and on the front of the hotel above the pedestrian street full of restaurants and music. A other kind of noise but better than the lift! However, clean, atmospheric and characterful.

TR Çalışanlar gayet yardımsever insanlardı. Otelin konumu gerçekten çok merkeziydi. Ayrıca otelin tarihi de oldukça etkileyiciydi. Tekrar gelecek olsam yine aynı oteli tercih ederim. ENG The employees were very helpful people. The location of the hotel was really very central. The history of the hotel was also quite impressive. If I were to come again, I would choose the same hotel.
